Sustainable
High-Quality Protein from Organic Waste

The Process

Inspired on the cow’s multiple stomachs, we developed a multi-stage fermentation process to transform organic waste into microbial protein.

In the first stage the waste undergoes anaerobic digestion producing methane,
This is used in second stage for the cultivation of our microbe

This intermediate methane-producing-step efficiently separates the carbon source from the waste. This reduces the purification complexity and the downstream process cost for our edible microbial protein.
